Classic style watches are very in at the moment. I've seen SO many bloggers and influencers with their stylish Daniel Wellington watches on instagram and I've been itching to get my hands on something similar! I was contacted by a company called Nordgreen who I'd heard of before who sell beautiful minimalist watches with a similar style to Daniel Wellington. They kindly offered to send me a watch and a couple of interchangeable straps and as soon as they arrived I fell in love.

Nordgreen are a Scandinavian company based out of Copenhagen in Denmark and they produce simple and minimalist style watches with interchangeable straps. I was lucky enough to receive the Philosopher watch in silver and was sent three different straps; the black leather, brown leather and silver mesh (which is my personal fave).

The best thing about Nordgreen is their programme which helps to give back to communities across the world. With every watch purchase you can choose on the website which project to donate to. There are three varieties; Health (to provide clean water to those in the Central African Republic), Environment (to protect the rain forest in Latin America) and Education (to educate the children in India).

The quality of the watch is amazing. The straps are sturdy and the leather is soft. The watch feels so lightweight but you can tell the quality is amazing. I particularly love the size of the watch face - it's not too big or small, it's just the right size. They have SO many different designs to choose from and their watch faces come in silver, gold and rose gold styles.

The watches aren't the cheapest you can find but for the quality you get you cannot fault them. The Philosopher watch with the silver face and black strap is $220 and you can purchase it here and the straps are $59 for the silver mesh and $49 for the brown leather. If you're a student you can also get 20% off the website when you're on student beans!!

Overall I actually love the Nordgreen watches and I think they could be my all time favourite. I used to be obsessed with chunky Michael Kors watches but I much prefer the simpler style lightweight watch. I would definitely recommend checking them out and browsing their selection of watches.

Have any of you tried the Nordgreen watches before? Let me know your favourite watch brands in the comments below! A girl can never have too many watches!!

Firstly, soz that there was no March favourites post, but he ho here's a combined March and April favourites. Secondly, why is 2018 flying by so quickly? Does anyone else think that April was virtually none existent? It feels like yesterday I was celebrating my birthday in February and now we’ve officially hit spring (although the weather in the UK is certainly NOT playing ball with us at the moment – where has the sunshine gone?!)

Hello May!

How are we nearly half way through the year already? April went by in a flash! Anyway.. it's time for my May goals! I am determined to make May my best month yet - I'm off on holiday at the end of the month so I need to smash my goals so I can enjoy myself in the sunshine!

Throughout April I've been hitting the gym constantly in training for my 10k run in June. I have been feeling so motivated and to get me in the summer mood I've been listening to lots of new music as well as some holiday classics.

I will be jetting off on my first holiday of the year at the end of May which means I've got just over a month to get myself feeling more confident in my own skin. I've been following slimming world for the last two weeks and have been really enjoying cooking syn free dinners. One of our favourites has been the Chicken Saag which we adapted slightly with what we had in our cupboards and I thought I'd share the recipe with you all below!

Throughout the last couple of months, I've being consciously working out harder than ever before and am making a real effort to stay on track with my eating. I often find that I don't like a lot of healthy breakfast options and so tend to reach for a smoothie packed full of yummy fruit and goodness. My all time favourite smoothies to make are berry based smoothies, but I think it's important to get your greens in too so I've been adding my lean greens supplement into my smoothies and let me tell you, they taste so good!!
I have never used supplement powders before and I will honestly say I was very sceptical at first. The super greens supplement claims to help you banish your bloating, crush crippling cravings, optimise digestive healthy and give a natural energy boost and I thought it'd be just another gimmick, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Lean Greens is a food supplement company whose produce a range of powders to help with weightloss and bloating. Their products are designed to taste good on their own and are packed with lots of nutrients. The super greens powder is packed full of spinach, broccoli, blueberry and blackcurrant extracts, green tea and lots more. To be completely honest I didn't like the taste of the powder on it's own and would've struggled to drink it every day just mixed with cold water, however mixed into a smoothie it tastes delicious.

I like to mix x2 cups of orange juice, 5 handfuls of frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) and a couple of handfuls of ice with x3 scoops of the powder, then top it up with water and blend. It tastes just like a berry smoothie and you can barely taste the green powder.

I've been using the powder for nearly three weeks now and I must say I wouldn't miss it that much if I stopped using it. I do feel as though it helped with my bloating, but I still felt hungry (that could be just because I love food) and I didn't like the taste that much. That being said when it's hidden in the smoothie, I'm getting all the added benefits and nutrition without much effort.

My energy levels have definitely increased and I am feeling more energetic when I do a workout in the gym which is making me work harder, so that's definitely a positive.

All in all, I think that the Super Greens Powder is a great easy way to get your greens into your diet and is definitely convenient when you have a busy lifestyle. It does also definitely help to decrease bloating.

The Super Greens Powder is available to buy from their website for £25 or on Amazon here!

I've always heard great things about Miller and Carter restaurants, but I wasn't 100% sold.

I love Q&A posts but I’ve done a fair few of them before and thought it would be a bit different to do one with my boyfriend. If you didn’t know Jay and I have been together for four and a half years now and I thought it was about time he featured on the blog in some way. I’m desperate to do a Primark outfit challenge post where we hit up the local Primark in Leeds and chose an outfit for one another; however he isn’t keen to walk around the ladies section on his own!! Anyway, I have managed to persuade him to join me in a Q&A so let’s get onto the questions…

It's April, which means it's time for the April goals! I love setting new goals each month, it always makes me feel inspired and I'm a lover of a list so we're onto a winner. Anyway, in March I set myself a few goals and I'm so glad I achieved most of them!! I hit over 100,500 page views on my blog, I've been training for my 10k (yep, still can't run very far or fast but it's the trying that counts hey!), I've also been cooking more too which I've really enjoyed. Unfortunately I haven't managed to increase my DA or get all my April content scheduled but I'm half way there so I'd say we've achieved some good stuff in March don't you think?
