LENT UPDATE: WEEK 2


So we're 2 weeks in and I'm doing ok .. *I'm surviving people*

I won't lie to you, the first 2 weeks have been hard and there has been many a temptations but I'm doing well and have so far resisted the urge to crack! If you are reading this and thinking to yourself "what the hell is this woman on about?" then read my post all about what I'm giving up for lent this year. Basically in a nut shell, I'm giving up all the crappy junk food cravings; sweets, crisps, chocolate, biscuits and cakes. Yes I know AM I MAD? I think I am! But in a ll seriousness I am glad I'm doing this whole lent thing. I do feel a lot better and healthier and haven't found that I've craved a lot .. mainly it's been the crisps (this is literally my weakness) and chocolate .. but I did survive the dreaded time of the month without chocolate and believe me that is definitely an achievement!

The reasons for me taking part in lent are because one I want to try and cut down on the bad treats, two because It's a good challenge and three because I know It will make me feel better in the long run. Why don't you try giving up something? I'm surprised I'm doing this well to be honest but still got 4 weeks to go! ROLL ON EASTER SUNDAY!!
