On Tuesday 10th February 2015, I turned 21 and I had such lovely birthday celebrations with all my favourite people!
I went home to Liverpool the weekend before my birthday to celebrate with my Family and Boyfriend. I decided that on the day of my meal I'd pamper myself because I'm 21 now and I think I deserve it! I ran myself a bath in the morning to help myself relax, then I spent the rest of the day preparing my outfit, make up and topping up my tan!
I'd decided to go to San Carlo Italian restaurant in Liverpool for dinner which I'd never been to before and to say I was excited was a slight understatement! We went to the Hard Days Night Hotel for cocktails beforehand which was lovely. There was a man singing in the Bar area and it was so beautiful. After drinks we headed to San Carlo which was just incredible! Apparently It's known for being a Celebrity Hotspot in Liverpool and you can totally understand why when you walk in. There is a real buzz in there and it's such a great atmosphere. The waiters were lovely and really took care of us all! I couldn't have chosen a better place to eat and celebrate my birthday.
Once we arrived home after the meal, I was greeted with a surprise cake from my parents who sung happy birthday to me, and then like the party girl I am, I headed straight to bed!!
On the Sunday I was woken by my mum to a lovely Brunch and greeted by tonnes of birthday presents. I was spoilt rotten, I got loads of money from friends and family, I got an IPad Mini, Jewellery and Make Up Storage, tonnes of make up brushes and lots of gorgeous make up!
I was back to work on the Monday morning in Manchester, but when I got home, my lovely boyfriend decided to treat me and he took me out for dinner, which was lovely. After dinner I opened my presents off his Mum, who was extremely thoughtful and gave me money, a little keepsake 21 Teddy bear and some chocolates.
My boyfriend Jay then decided to give me his presents. He really pulled it out of the bag this time. I got some of my favourite perfume which is Gucci Guilty and I was running very low on that so it was thoughtful that he had noticed. He also bought me some Pug themed presents; I got a pug phone case and two notepads with pugs on which he thought I could use for Blog post ideas! I received a huge bottle of Champagne and a lovely photo in a frame of myself, Jay and my twin sister (who is currently living in New York and it was our first birthday we haven't spent together so I thought that was a special present!)
I was so overwhelmed with his gifts, and then I was told he's taking me on a weekend away in March and it's a surprise where we're going so I'm beyond excited for that, I literally cannot believe it!
I loved spending time with my family and boyfriend over the weekend before my birthday but it was bitter-sweet because it meant that I'd be spending my actual birthday on my own. To my surprise however, I walked into work on the Tuesday morning to find my desk covered in 21st birthday balloons! I was completely shocked and was not expecting the surprise at all. I thought that was sweet enough, but they also got me another 21st balloon and some gorgeous Benefit make up!! My colleagues made my birthday so special and I even had a surprise delivery of Cupcakes off my Mum and Dad which was amazing too! They were absolutely beautiful and so delicious!
After work I went for a birthday meal with my colleagues to TGIF'S and the staff sung happy birthday to me which was so embarrassing but thoughtful none the less.
I had such an amazing 21st birthday and I am so excited to spend the weekend away with my Boyfriend in March!
