MY FIRST EVER BLOGGERS CHAT

So yesterday I took part in my first ever Bloggers Chat - the #NWBChat.

The chat was run by Jackie from Just Add Ginger. I didn't really know what to expect from a blogger chat but I was surprised at how relaxed it was and how friendly everyone involved was too!

Blogger chats are a great way of connecting with bloggers and potentially brands too. Within the first 2 minutes of the chat, I was already making friends and talking to other bloggers like me. They're also a great way to get your blog out there for people to see and become more active in the blogging community.

In the #NWBChat Jackie asked us 5 different questions in relation to blogging over the hour chat. I like this system as you can respond to other peoples answers and chat about what you have in common etc.

I was initially quite scared to get involved in a blogger chat because I'm a fairly new blogger and haven't really connected with other bloggers in the past but I don't know what I was worried about! I feel like it was insightful and such a good way to make new friends.
I used tweetdeck for my first blogger chat because it was an easy way to post my tweets, whilst seeing my notifications and also viewing the hashtag. I'd recommend it if you want to have everything in one place, it's also great for scheduling in tweets.

If you've not taken part in any blog chats yet then I seriously recommend it. I'll definitely be joining in more each week.
