Today I thought I'd let you all get to know me a little bit more so I'm bringing to you the Confessions of a Blogger Tag. I hope you all enjoy!
1. When did you start your blog?
I started my blog in September 2014 when I moved to Manchester for my Placement Year.
2. Why did you start your blog?
I started my blog for many reasons. I think the main reason I did it was because I was moving to a new city on my own and wanted to have a hobby to keep my busy. I have also been following blogs for years and thought why not give it a go myself! I love talking about make up and fashion so thought I'd right down all my thoughts in a blog for a bit of fun. I never thought people would actually read it!!
3. Have you had any past presence online?
I think I previously started a blog in 2011 when I was 17 but wrote one post and deleted it.
4. When did you become serious about your blog?
I have always wanted to produce good content on my blog but I don't make money from it or anything so it depends what you mean by serious.
5. What was your first post?
My first post was called "Who is What Katie Did Next" you can read it HERE. It was basically just a little introduction to me and my blog and a sort of welcome!
6. What is the biggest challenge you have faced whilst blogging?
I think the thing I struggle with the most is actually the photo element. It's such an important part of your blog posts but because I can't afford a good camera at the moment I am stuggling to find ways to produce good photos. I also struggle to find the time to take them too as I'm so busy with my full time job - if anyone has any tips then please let me know :)
7. Where do you see your blog in one year?
A year from now I just hope I still enjoy blogging and that it grows in the direction I want it to.
8. What is the most rewarding thing to you about blogging?
I think the most rewarding thing is definitely seeing people comment on my posts and enjoy reading them. I also love the whole blogging community and how everyone is so lovely and welcoming.
9. What's the most discouraging thing that happens to you?
I wouldn't say anything discourages me to be honest. I found it hard for a while to think of ways around my photography issues but I'm slowly working on it.
10. What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?
My inspiration is all the other amazing bloggers within the community. I blog as a hobby so my motivation is seeing people happy when they read my posts.
