Working full time during the week means that I'm always tired and I'd much rather have another 10 minutes "beauty" sleep than spend half an hour doing my make up! I usually do my make up in about 15 minutes and it's a very simple look that I tend to reach for. Today I thought I'd share with you what I wear on my every day face.

I've not included my moisturiser in this because it's not technically a make up item as such, but I use the Moisture Match Garnier Moisturiser for dry to very dry skin. You can read all about my thoughts on that here.
On a day-to-day basis, I use Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum which is a lovely light foundation which gives me a natural coverage (exactly what I need for work). I would highly recommend it if you have dry skin like me! I apply my foundation with the Real Techniques buffing brush. I sometimes conceal my under eyes if I've had less sleep but sometimes I just can't be bothered!

Next I like to apply my bronzer/contour. If I'm in a rush - which is usually the case- I grab my 2true bronzer and do a quick bit of contouring (nothing too heavy but enough to define my features slightly) before applying my MAC mineralize skin-finish in Soft and Gentle on the tops of my cheekbones.

Next I move onto the eyes, I use the MUA heaven and earth palette on my eyes and normally put one of the darkest brown shades in the crease and a gold shade in the centre of my eyes. I use make up brushes from eBay for this. I also put the white shimmery colour in my inner corner.

I use the collection extreme 24 hour felt liner to create a small flick and then apply my Benefit roller lash mascara which I LOVE.

I use my MAC brown pencil in a medium brown shade on my brows and brush them out with my spooly.

And to finish I apply any lipstick I have in sight, but at the moment I'm loving my Bourjour Rouge Edition lipstick in number 07 Fushia graffiti. It's a gorgeous bold pink and is great for the summer.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I use on my face on a day-to-day basis. I love having a nosey into everyone's make up bags.
