STUDENT SERIES - 3 TIPS FOR GETTING THE BEST GRADE (NEW SERIES)

I can't believe that in September it'll be my fourth and final year at Uni. These past couple of years have flown by and I don't ever want my Uni experience to end.

As I've had 3 years of Uni already, I thought I'd start my student series and give you all some tips for Uni and answer any questions you may have!

Far my final year I'm aiming for a really good degree and I'm determined to work hard to get the grade I want.

I thought I'd share with you my top 3 tips for getting the best grade (these will be the tips that I follow religiously for my final year!)
1. Get Organised
This is the most important tip. It is essential that you are organised with your Uni work. In order to get organised, I always print out my timetable and put it on the back of my bedroom door so I can check what lessons I have when I leave for the day. I also make sure I have a diary so that I can write down any deadlines I have and plan out what work I need to do. A diary is also important when factoring in other commitments such as your part-time job, societies or sporting activities.

2. Attend lectures and seminars
Now I can't say I stuck to this in my first and second years of Uni but I know how important it is to attend all the lectures and seminars. My goal this year is to attend all my lectures and seminars. It enables you to get to know your tutor and obviously you learn more!!! Attendance can also sometimes be a consideration to your overall grade.

3. Plan your assignments
I know this is self explanatory and I sound a bit like your mum, but it's so important to plan out your assignments in advance and do them over a longer period of time instead of just rushing them. I noticed such a change in my grades after I started taking more time to plan the assignments instead of starting them the week that they were due and getting more and more stressed. Even if it means doing half an hour twice a week from the day you find out about the assignment, it will all help you when it comes to the week its due in!

I hope these tips have been helpful for you, whether you're returning to University or just looking for some general advice! What would you guys want to know about Uni? Let me know in the comments below, I'll be happy to answer any of your questions! <3
