I can't believe that my University placement year is coming to an end. At the end of everyday July, I will have finished my placement and will be ready to leave Manchester and move back to Sheffield for my fourth and final year of Uni.
I can't believe how quickly this past year has gone and how much I've grown as a person and what I've achieved. Looking back to this time last year I never would have thought that I'd stick at this placement. I didn't think I'd be able to cope living on my own in a new City, leaving my boyfriend in Sheffield and my family back in Liverpool and I definitely didn't think I'd fit in to my new job as quickly as I did.
I've enjoyed the past year a lot and I've learnt so much. I'm not going to lie and say it was a walk in the park, because It really wasn't - but It was a learning curve and I've come out the other end a much better person!
This weekend I went to Sheffield with some of my flatmates to see our new flat for the first time and I had the best night and am so lucky to have such lovely friends in my life! I can't wait to move there for my final year.
The end of placement is only 19 days away and I am so excited for the future. Have any of you guys done a placement year at Uni?
I'm so happy for you! I did a month of placement earlier in the year and i'm so happy to be done with it. Good luck moving into your new flat :) x
ReplyDeleteIt feels so rewarding and I'm so proud I've stuck with it for the whole year! It's an amazing thing to do I'd urge anyone who has the opportunity to do it! And thanks! I can't wait to make my room look dead girly and pretty and show you all! X
