With it being officially Summer here in the UK (yes, I know the weather suggests otherwise!), I thought I'd so a summer beauty post today so I thought as I'm going away in 2 weeks I would show you all what I'm taking in my travel makeup bag!

Some of you may know if you follow me on twitter that I'm going on holiday to Majorca with my boyfriend and family on the 15th August (I'M SO EXCITED!!) so I'm trying to be organised and plan ahead of my trip. I've just finished my university placement year (you can read about it here, here and here) and I don't have a lot of time between now and my holiday to do all my packing so I thought I'd get ahead of the game and do a post on the makeup I'm taking with me!

I normally pick up a clear makeup bag from Primark before I go away and use that for my makeup as I find that clear ones are so much easier when trying to find a product that's at the bottom of the bag!

For my base, I'm taking my Benefit primer, L'Oreal foundation and Bourjous cream contour base. I have also just ordered the new Maybelline concealer too as it's the hype at the moment and it looks amazing!

For bronzer I'm taking my Sleek Contour kit which has contour, blush and highlight shades. I will also be taking my MAC mineralize skin finish in Gold Deposit and also my new Sleek Highlight palette (you can read my review of that here).

For eye shadow I'm going to take my MUA Heaven and Earth Palette and my Soap and Glory eye pencil for my brows. For Mascara I'll be taking my Benefit Roller Lash Mascara and my absolute favourite mascara by Maybelline for length (you can read my review here). I will probably take a pair of false eye lashes for the night time if I feel like getting particularly dressed up too!

For lips, I'm planning on taking my new MAC Morange lipstick (check out my review here), along with my bright pink Bourjour Rouge Edition Lipstick and my NYC Crayon in red.

I always find it so hard to pack my holiday makeup, it’s impossible to decide what items to take with you! I mean, a girl can just never have too many makeup products can they!?
