Hello you lovely lot :) Today's post is just a little one to talk about how excited I am to be finally back at Uni and raring to go for my final year. As you may be aware if you've read my previous posts about my placement year (HERE AND HERE), you will know that I've been living away from Uni for the past year on an industrial work placement.
If you didn't know, I go to University in Sheffield and have completed my placement year in Manchester. I really enjoyed my placement and my colleagues at work were so lovely and welcoming, but I did really miss Uni and Sheffield. I didn't know anyone in Manchester so I got lonely at times, and my boyfriend lives in Sheffield so I found it quite hard being away from him too, as well as my friends and family, but it was totally worth it.
I am so excited to be back in Sheffield, living with all my friends and I loved hitting up freshers week one last time! I literally cannot believe that it's my last year at Uni, just typing that makes me so sad. I honestly never want my university experience to end. I will be heartbroken. When people say that your uni years are the best years of your life they really aren't joking, trust me on that one!!
This week I've been meeting my final year tutors and finding out about the work and exams that are to come during this next year and it all sounds pretty intense and scary, but I know I can do it if I work hard and stay dedicated! (wish me luck!) Due to a demand in work and the pressure that I'll be under, I am thinking of changing my blogging schedule slightly, until I get used to managing my work with my part time job. I would normally post 3 times a week - Sunday/Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, however I'm thinking of changing to 2 posts a week and possibly posting on a Saturday and a Wednesday. Hope that's ok with you guys! I'll be doing a post next week explaining all about it!
Sounds like it's been quite a few busy/stressful weeks! Totally understand what it's like when uni gets hectic..it's never fun. Lovely little life update - always love reading these! x
ReplyDeleteIt's so stressful and I'm trying to find the time to post on my blog! I'd hate to neglect it. I think I need to get this week over with and then try and write up some posts ready to schedule again!
