BLOGGING AND PERSONAL GOALS FOR 2016

As it's now officially 2016, I've been reflecting on the last year in my life. 2015 has been a pretty good year. I've made so many good memories and feel confident to go into the New Year with an open mind and make it an amazing year, one I won't forget. Here are my goals for 2016...

Get back into fitness and healthy eating
Over the Christmas festivities I think it's safe to say I've put on a few unwanted pounds! I am hoping that I can get back into the Gym when I move back to Uni and start my healthy lifestyle again. I want to feel healthier in myself and also drop a dress size so I am determined to work hard and make an effort! My aim is to try and go to the gym 4 times a week.

Put on a successful Live Event in Sheffield as part of my degree
As some of you may know I study Event Management at University and one of the requirements for my final year is to put on a Live event from scratch for Charity - with no starting budget. I am working in a group with 3 of my friends and we are hosting a Modern day Murder Mystery event called Casino Killer. As you can probably tell from the title, we are hosting the murder mystery in Genting Casino Sheffield and the event will take place on Thursday 25th February 2016. We are raising money for a Sheffield based charity called Cavendish Cancer Care and you can buy tickets HERE.

Keep growing my blog & posting better content
My blog has grown a fair bit in 2015 and I've loved every minute of blogging. My goal for 2016 is to keep growing my blog and engaging with fellow bloggers :) I also really want to improve the content of my blog and post high quality content regularly.

Try and budget a bit more
I did quite well with my budgeting in 2015 but I want to make sure I try and save where possible this year. When I graduate I will be moving into my own place so I need to have some sort of funds for that. Time to get saving I think!

Work hard and graduate with the grade I want and deserve
2016 is going to be a big year for me! I'll be graduating (I've got all my fingers crossed) from University with a degree in Events Management. I am determined to get the grade I want and deserve and will work so hard to try and achieve my goals! Wish me luck guys! I'll need it :)

Get a graduate job and move into a new flat
My final goal is to get a job when I graduate and move into a new flat. Seems like a pretty simple goal doesn't it, however I would ideally like to stay close to the area I currently live in so it's going to be tough to find a job in the area but I'm determined to get one!!

What are your personal goals for the new year? Let me know in the comments below :)

  1. I've got similar goals to you, good luck with achieving them and good luck with the rest of your degree. I've been trying to save for a deposit over the last year which has been proving difficult.
