So now that it's winter time and it is freezing cold outside, after work all I want to do is rustle up is my favourite teatime winter warmer recipes! So here’s some ideas.

1. Vegetarian Lasagna
I have been obsessed with vegetarian lasagna since moving in with my boyfriend back in June. We literally ate it once a week (I know, that's kind of bad but it was SO good!) I basically just put as much veg as I like in it; we usually have courgettes, peppers, spinach and onions, then layer it like the usual type of lasagna! I actually much prefer it to meat lasagna and you're getting more goodness from the veg in it so it's a win win situation!

2. Sausage and Mash
Sausage & Mash is just an all time classic. We love mixing our gravy with caramelised onions too! It's such a nice comfort food to come home to when it's freezing outside and you just want to get warm!

3. Fajitas
Fajitas are another classic. I always seem to have these on a weekend, it almost feels like a takeaway because it's kind of like a naughty treat to us! I love changing up the variations but our favourite is chicken with the BBQ flavoured seasoning! Fajitas are perfect for before nights out or for when you've got a big group to feed!

4. Wrap pizza & Garlic Bread
We LOVE a good pizza in our household! It's a lighter and healthier version of a stodgy pizza and I like how it's easy and quick to make and you can change it up each time! All you need is a wrap, tomato puree or passata and the toppings of your choice!

5. Roast Dinner
Of course a roast dinner has got to be included in the list! It's another classic and definitely a winter warmer! Our favourite type of roast has all the trimmings; roast chicken, Yorkshire puddings, mint sauce, stuffing, honey roasted carrots and parsnips, broccoli, mash and roasted potatoes with a shit load of gravy!!!! Mmmm, my mouth is legit watering at the thought of it!

So there you have it, there is 6 meals that my boyfriend and I LOVE to eat during the winter! Let me know what you love in the comments below!
