1. Having a key support network of friends and family is the most important thing. I couldn't have got through University without my best friends, family, supportive tutors and amazing boyfriend. They supported me through it all; even when I thought I couldn't do it and I cannot thank them all enough. They all mean the world to me.
2. I can do it! I now finally believe in myself. I got my degree; and a first, which I never in a million years imagined I'd ever get! I got my first graduate role which I love and am learning so much from and I am so grateful for my family, friends and boyfriend for making me believe in myself and telling me I could really do it because now I know I can!
3. A cup of tea with your best friends always fixes everything (particular shout out to my gals Demi and Annie who loved tea as much as me, I miss our tea rounds!)
4. I'm growing up!! In 2016 I graduated from University after four incredible years, got my first proper job, moved in with my boyfriend and made incredible memories along the way (some of my faves were Garlic bread night with Mol - you know what I mean!! Nights in WSL and spending time with my fam). Here's to another great year in 2017!
5. It's so important to go with your instinct. I was so nervous and on edge about taking the first Grad role I was offered but I know now it was 100% the right thing for me to do. It's so important to be happy in life. You can't regret anything so go out there and trust that instinct because it will all work out eventually whatever path you choose to take.

What have you learnt in 2016? Let me know below!
