As some of you know I work in events and in this industry I'm lucky enough to work 9-5 (it's a luxury - believe me!) but a lot of shit can go down in an 8 hour day and although I'm always busy, It is sometimes pretty shit. Here are 10 thoughts that most 9-5 workers probably have on a daily basis:
1. IS IT FRIDAY YET?
It may only 10am on a Monday morning, but every week I sit at my desk and I ask myself the same question - where did the weekend go?
2. WHERE IS ALL MY MONEY?
Ok so that number that is listed as your pay when you apply for the job is nowhere near what you end up getting after all the tax, pension, student loan etc. I'm broke and it's SHIT.
3. WHY HAVE I PUT ON WEIGHT?
Yes, as soon as you start a new job you will realise that there is ALWAYS food. Everywhere you look. When I first started my new job I put on so much weight it was vile.
4. HOW MANY TIMES CAN ONE PERSON EMAIL ME IN A DAY?
Let's face it, there is always one colleague that emails you 100 times a day and clogs up your inbox. I mean who has time for that? My motto in life is file away and deal with it another day *another 3 weeks pass and I still haven't dealt with it)
5. I WONDER HOW MANY CUPS OF TEA I WILL DRINK TODAY?
It's safe to say I'm seriously addicted to tea and at work this becomes even more apparent. I mean who needs 7+ cups of tea a day? Yep, me, over here, I do. I literally have a cup of tea every hour at work and guess what comes with a tea round .. yep you guessed it - either biscuits, chocolate or some form of cake. Oh yeah - and that's why I'm fat! *sighs* you literally cannot win!

There are many more thoughts I have whilst at work during the week... usually I do absolutely anything to avoid doing my work, whether that's taking selfies with the work bestie or offering to make a tea round just to step away from the computer! I seriously wouldn't get through work if it wasn't for some of my colleagues. You all need a work bestie in your life **I miss you NC - come back please and rescue me from hell** In all seriousness though, we all have these thoughts and it doesn't mean we hate our jobs completely - it's bound to be shit sometimes but that's life eh, keep drinking your tea and filing away your emails and you'll get by I promise!

Can any of you lovely lot relate to these thoughts? What types of jobs do you do? Let me know below :)
