HOW TO GET THE BEST BACKDROPS FOR YOUR BLOG PHOTOS

[This post contains gifted items]

I've been wanting to improve my blog photos for the longest time now and have always struggled with the backdrop of my images. I am constantly scrolling through my instagram and pintrest feeds and lusting over the aesthetically pleasing photos and pastel colours and wishing my blog photos looked like that. I don't have an excuse .. it's not about the camera you have or the white background .. you can take amazing blog photos without all that and oh your Iphone too. I have decided that this year it's time to finally start to improve my photos and make more of an effort.

I love the cliche marble backgrounds and the white wood effect so when I was thinking about the type of backdrop I wanted I definitely felt that it was important to ensure I considered them. I had previously been using marble adhesive paper and don't get me wrong it looked good, but if I'm being totally honest I didn't like the shiny effect it gave so I came up with an alternative solution and discovered Pixel2Print.

I can't begin to tell you how good the whole process of ordering with Pixel2Print was. It was so easy and we discussed my requirements in depth before processing the order, which made me feel at ease and in control. Iain discussed the different print options and discussed the requirements that the images had to be. I did struggle to find free stock images of the correct size but I found some in the end. If I was to order again I would definitely think about potentially subscribing to a stock images website so I have more choice of images. I asked for all my prints to be A1 size as that's just big enough for a good sized flat lay with lots of blog props. Each print works out at about £6.00 each so it's very affordable and the quality is amazing.

I chose 3 different images and got them printed on 3 different stocks - my favourite is the satin finish. The delivery was super quick and the posters came packaged in cardboard tube which was very durable and kept the posters in good condition. I think the quality is amazing and the backdrop looks so realistic. I chose a marble background, a white brick background and a white/grey wooden background. I am so pleased with them and would highly recommend Pixel2Print for the service and overall quality.

I have used the different backdrops a few times now and you can see some examples in my recent blog posts - here's the white brick in action. Definitely check the guys out at Pixel2Print and send me pictures of your backdrops if you decide to get some. I'll definitely be going back for more in the future, they're fab!
