So I travel to NYC in just over a week and I am slowly but surely ticking things off my to do list. I'm one of those people that always over packs makeup. My essentials are a full large toiletry bag plus palettes and brushes separately. I just always think I need variation and when you're in New York you've got to have options don't you? (Back me up gals!) I wish I could be one of those girls who literally wears tinted moisturiser and mascara and looks amazing but my skin can't cope with that and it needs a medium coverage foundation to cover up the spots and dry patches that I get so regularly.

I'm going to take a couple of different foundations to New York; some fuller coverage for the evening and some lighter for the day time. I love the bourjous foundation for the daytime. It's lightweight and smells like summer. I love it. For the evenings I'm taking my Estee Lauder Double wear foundation along with my Loreal Lumi Magique. I like to mix them together for the perfect coverage and colour.
I'll also be taking my trusty Collection Lasting Perfection concealer and my Sleek blush, highlight and bronzer combo. I am also taking my MAC mineralise skinfinish in Gold Deposit and my MUA illuminator along with my Make Up Revolution Primer too. Basically I want all the glow in the American sunshine!

For brows I'm taking my Make up Revolution brow pomade and keeping it simple. For mascara I'm taking my new Maybelline mascara along with my trustee benefit they're real. I love experimenting with my eye shadow so I'm taking my Urban Decay Smokey palette and my Make Up Revolution palette. I'm also taking my L'Oreal eyeliner and a pair of my Ardell Demi Wispies lashes.

For lips I'm going to take my favourite L'Oreal lipstick along with the rimmel lip liner in and my Mac whirl (knowing me I will probably take a few others too - you can never have too many lipsticks now can you!).

I'll be packing my trustee Nivea moisturiser and my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. I will also be taking my lash curlers and some tweezers to help when applying my lashes (I'm not capable with my acrylics on!) I am also taking my beauty blender sponge and some brushes. I always take make up wipes to remove dirt from my face and my micellar water from Garnier too.

I will probably end up packing even more stuff because I'm that girl but oh well who cares I've got room in my case! What do you pack in your holiday make up bag? Let me know below. Oh and I also wanna know where you're going away too, I love to find out everyone's favourite holiday destinations.
