MALTEASERS ROCKY ROAD RECIPE!

December means Christmas is getting near and calories don't count during the month of festivities. To embrace the season I decided to make some festive Malteasers Rocky Road and without tooting my own trumpet - it was delicious! Today I'm going to share with you the recipe so you can join in too and eat delicious treats whilst sipping a hot chocolate and watching Christmas films. It's seriously such an easy recipe and would be great for Christmas parties!

 INGREDIENTS
175g Malteasers (I used one and a half of the share bags)
250g Dark Chocolate
50g Butter
8 Digestive Biscuits
60g Baby Marshmallows
Decorations (not necessary)

METHOD
The first step is to line your baking tray with grease proof paper then set aside whilst you do the fun part.

Boil some water in a pan and put a bowl on top, then break up your dark chocolate and put it in the bowl. Continue to stir until the chocolate is completely melted and remove from the heat. Leave to rest for 10 minutes.

Whilst your waiting for the chocolate to cool, it's time to bash up the digestive biscuits in a plastic bag - this is the fun bit.

Once the chocolate is cool, add the crushed digestives, marshmallows and malteasers to the chocolate mixture and fold in.

Pour the mixture onto your baking tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before decorating and serving.

Honestly, I cannot tell you how good they taste, SO bad but so so good! If you try them out, please let me know in the comments below!
