Don't you think January is the longest month ever known to mankind? It drags so much and feels like you wait an age for payday to come. Anyway now that January is over I can finally get excited for my Birthday month and lots of celebrations.

Although January can be a long and draining month, a lot of good things have happened for me and I've got a lot of favourite products to share with you, so here goes:

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation - Ok so I've done a whole post on my thoughts on this which you can read here, but in short I really like it. This is one of those foundations that just changes the way my skin looks. I suffer with dry skin but when I wear this you'd never know. It doesn't feel cakey at all but it has really good coverage and it makes my skin look glowy and fresh. I like wearing this on a day-to-day basis but also build it up for a full coverage look for a night out. I highly recommend you go and check this out if you haven't before. I think I've worn it none stop since I opened it at Christmas.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - This is another one of those products that you hear being so hyped up amongst the blogging community and then you finally try it you know exactly why everyone was banging on about it. This is by far my favourite mascara I've ever tried. It makes my lashes look full and elongated but not clumpy. I have quite short lashes so wearing this mascara makes me feel that little more confident without having to put false lashes on. If you think it's too pricey, then the L'Oreal Paradise Mascara is also another of my faves and is very similar.

Old Skool Vans - I have wanted Old Skool black Vans for a while now and just never got around to buying them for myself, so when my Mum and Dad bought them for me for Christmas this year I was obviously VERY excited. I have been loving wearing mine with a pair of skinny jeans and a jumper or with my black denim skirt that my sister bought me for Christmas (which I've also been loving).

Black Gazelles - A couple of years ago my boyfriend Jay bought me a pair of baby pink Adidas Gazelles and I absolutely loved them, however because there were pink they got dirty VERY quickly and then looked a grey colour rather than pink. For the longest time I've wanted a pair of black ones because they are much more practical and also very cute too. I was so excited when Jay bought me some black ones too! They are soo nice.

Black Pointed Stud Flats - I've seen these stud ballet flats a few times when I've scoured the footwear section in Primark however I've never been tempted to buy them before. As you might know if you follow me on twitter, I started a new job in January and I was in Primark after Christmas looking for some new work clothes to get me in the mood to start! I picked up a few outfits and thought that these shoes would be the perfect addition to any outfit, and I was right. I think they look amazing. They are cute but smart and look really professional when paired with a pencil skirt and shirt but also look dressed down with my jumper dress too. They are SO comfy and only £6 so you can't really go wrong with them!

Navy Jumper Dress - Before Christmas I found a pinky/nude jumper dress from Primark and have lived in it ever since, so when I stumbled across the Navy blue version in the sale (yes Primark sometimes have a sale - I know!) I just couldn't leave it behind. I love wearing this to work with black tights and my stud flats on dress down day. It's SO warm and cosy too - such a bargain!

My New Job - probably my most favourite thing to come out of January 2018 has got to be my new job. If you don't know, I now work at NHS England as an Events Officer and it's the perfect job for me. Although I miss my old job and my colleagues there, I felt I was ready for some progression and I new I'd love it at NHS England. My new team are lovely and everyone has been so welcoming. I've already learnt so much in the last three weeks and I'm excited to keep learning and developing my skills.

Lazy Arm - My boyfriend Jay bought me a Lazy Arm for my Ipad for Christmas and I'm not joking you it's probably my favourite present, ever! Basically if you don't know what a Lazy Arm is, you clip it onto your side table and it holds your Ipad so you can lie in bed and watch Netflix as you please. It's made us SO lazy but I don't care because they are genius!

BBQ Lentil Snacks - If you love crisps but you want to try and eat healthier these BBQ lentil snacks are a great alternative. We picked them up in Aldi by the till one Sunday and we've been addicted ever since. They taste so nice and you wouldn't know they were made from lentils not potatoes!

Fake Flowers - If you're like me and you love homeware then you will be on the same page as me with this one. I absolutely LOVE fake flowers, they look so pretty in a vase on our windowsill and they come in so handy for blog photos too. I always buy mine from Amazon or shops like Poundland etc.

Netflix/Line of Duty - Ok so if you've not seen Line of Duty, where have you been? I know I'm late to the party but omg it's so good. I have been loving Netflix in general since I got the lazy arm for Christmas and spend my evenings tucked up in bed watching Netflix and blogging! Doesn't it sound perfect?

The Gym - As you might know I've been taking part in the Teenage Cancer Trusts 10,000 steps a day challenge this month helping to raise awareness and vital funds to support the charity (you can read more here). In order to make sure I reach my target each day I've been going to the gym more often and I've been really enjoying it. I am lucky that I get to work 08.30-16.30 which means I can come home and get straight to the gym before relaxing in the evening. I have also now signed up to the 10k Race for Life in June (I know, I'm very nervous!) and I'll be starting my training programme this week in order to get me feeling fit and healthy and not like I'm going to pass out every 5 seconds!

HydrateM8 Water Bottle - Going to the gym and working out means that I need to keep hydrated and my twinny kindly got me one of the hydrateM8 water bottles which is helping me keep on track of my water intake and encouraging me to drink more each day. They're fab!

So that’s what I’ve been loving this throughout January! Let me know your January favourites in the comments below!
