APRIL FAVOURITES

Firstly, soz that there was no March favourites post, but he ho here's a combined March and April favourites. Secondly, why is 2018 flying by so quickly? Does anyone else think that April was virtually none existent? It feels like yesterday I was celebrating my birthday in February and now we’ve officially hit spring (although the weather in the UK is certainly NOT playing ball with us at the moment – where has the sunshine gone?!)

Anyway onto the April Favourites:

LIFESTYLE

Slimming World
I've been following the slimming world plan for 3 weeks now and can honestly say I've been loving it. I have lost over half a stone in the first few weeks and have really been loving trying out new recipes. I have a few favourites on my blog HERE and HERE.

BBQ Pop Chips (they are literally INSANE)

BBQ Pop Chips are my guilty please. I haven't had them since I started slimming world because they are syns and I'm trying not to have too many each day however if I am craving something I know that these could tempt me. They are so delicious and I could very easily eat a whole bag (NOT GOOD and not syn friendly!!)

Gym classes at Pure GymThis last month I've really been enjoying doing classes at Pure Gym. I always seem to get nervous going to a new class I've never done before but it's good to get out of your comfort zone so I've tried out a few different classes. My favourites have got to be aerobics and steps. I'm gutted because aerobics has actually been cancelled and moved to a lunch time session so I can't go anymore but steps is brilliant; lots of fun and always hard work! I also like legs, bums and tums too!

Hitting blogging goals

I've been really proud of hitting over 100,000 views on my blog. I never in a millions years thought it'd become what it has and I love every minute of it. I have been able to work with some amazing brands and have gained followers from across the globe. I honestly want to thank anyone who has read or subscribed to my blog - it means the world.

BEAUTY/SKINCARE

Born This Way Concealer

I have been using the Born This Way Concealer since I got it at Christmas time and I love it. It's so creamy and applies really easily. It doesn't get cakey and if you use it under your eyes and then apply a thin layer of setting powder it doesn't budge at all. It is on the more expensive side at £28 for the concealer, and I don't think it will beat my favourite collection concealer, but I do enjoy wearing it.

Make Up Revolution Lipstick

I am a sucker for a nude/pink lipstick and this is such a beautiful dusky pink/nude with a satin finish. It feels creamy when applied and stays on my lips for hours without smudging or becoming dry. I pair this with a nude lip liner and I'm good to go. My shade is 'Greatest' and it's only £4.00 from Superdrug - so such a bargain!

BodyShop Drops of Youth creamI have had the BodyShop Drops of Youth cream for ages now and I love using it as part of my evening skincare routine. I use this after I've cleansed and toned my face and apply it about half an hour before I put my moisturiser on so it has a chance to sink into the skin. It's not cheap and I don't know whether I've truthfully purchase it again however I have loved using it and my skin does seem a lot more smooth!

L'Oreal Hydra Genius Moisturiser

The L'Oreal Hydra Genius is by far my all time favourite moisturiser. I use the one for dry and sensitive skin because I suffer quite badly. I recently ran out and stopped using it and my skin hated me for it so it just goes to show that it really works. It's got a gel like consistency and feels very hydrating on the skin. I highly recommend this to anyone with severe dry skin.

Essence Matte Liquid Lipstick

Ok so this is my new favourite liquid lipstick. It's the perfect nude colour and applies so easily. I've got the shade beauty approved. It's so wearable for both day and night and SO cheap too. I got mine in Wilko's for £2.30 - yep you heard right ... under £3, get yours now!

FASHION

My Gucci inspired trainers

Since getting these trainers for my birthday in February, I have worn them non stop. They look amazing with a tan and a pair of cropped trousers. I literally wear them with everything!!

Primark Cropped trousers

In the sunny weather I've been wearing my cropped primark trousers non stop. They are really flattering as they cinch you in at the waist but then flare out. I pair them with my Gucci inspired trainers and a denim jacket and it looks fab.

Tassel Earrings

Tassel earrings are my favourite thing at the moment. I am off to Rhodes at the end of the month and I cannot wait to whip out my favourite brightly coloured tassel earings. They are going to look amazing with a tan and glowy skin!! Primark have SO many!

Primark Denim Jacket

I've had this ripped oversized denim jacket for a couple of years and have had SO much wear out of it. I love pairing it with a cute dress and sandals or with my cropped trousers and trainers. It's so easy to throw on with any outfit and I love the oversized fit too.

Lavish Luxe Handbag

When Jay bought this for me for my birthday I was SO happy. I love this bag so much. It's the perfect size for me - it's a larger sized 'small' bag but isn't too big. It has two compartments with a zip fastening and I love taking this on a night out. I would definitely recommend purchasing this bag.
