REVIEW: NORDGREEN WATCHES - A DANIEL WELLINGTON DUPE?!

[This post contains gifted items]

Classic style watches are very in at the moment. I've seen SO many bloggers and influencers with their stylish Daniel Wellington watches on instagram and I've been itching to get my hands on something similar! I was contacted by a company called Nordgreen who I'd heard of before who sell beautiful minimalist watches with a similar style to Daniel Wellington. They kindly offered to send me a watch and a couple of interchangeable straps and as soon as they arrived I fell in love.

Nordgreen are a Scandinavian company based out of Copenhagen in Denmark and they produce simple and minimalist style watches with interchangeable straps. I was lucky enough to receive the Philosopher watch in silver and was sent three different straps; the black leather, brown leather and silver mesh (which is my personal fave).

The best thing about Nordgreen is their programme which helps to give back to communities across the world. With every watch purchase you can choose on the website which project to donate to. There are three varieties; Health (to provide clean water to those in the Central African Republic), Environment (to protect the rain forest in Latin America) and Education (to educate the children in India).

The quality of the watch is amazing. The straps are sturdy and the leather is soft. The watch feels so lightweight but you can tell the quality is amazing. I particularly love the size of the watch face - it's not too big or small, it's just the right size. They have SO many different designs to choose from and their watch faces come in silver, gold and rose gold styles.

The watches aren't the cheapest you can find but for the quality you get you cannot fault them. The Philosopher watch with the silver face and black strap is £164 and you can purchase it here and the straps are £39 for the silver mesh and £34 for the brown leather. If you're a student you can also get 20% off the website when you're on student beans!!

Overall I actually love the Nordgreen watches and I think they could be my all time favourite. I used to be obsessed with chunky Michael Kors watches but I much prefer the simpler style lightweight watch. I would definitely recommend checking them out and browsing their selection of watches.

Have any of you tried the Nordgreen watches before? Let me know your favourite watch brands in the comments below! A girl can never have too many watches!!

  2. At that point one day you leave your watch off your wrist and the entire day you stress over where you left it and it annoys you until it is back on your wrist. Once during my movements I was at the air terminal in Paris and needing to spruce up, went to the latrines, removed my watch, and had a snappy wash and afterward strolled off giving up my watch. more
