As we're now moving into the autumnal months, I thought it was time to share with you what's in my autumn makeup bag. I love reading these types of posts as it's a great way to find new makeup but also gives you an insight into me and the products I like to use, so here goes.
My makeup bag of choice at the moment is more of a wash bag and it's grey and copper and was from superdrug years ago! I love the colours together and it's a great size to fit everything I need in it!
For my base, I've recently been reaching for my Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. It's got a great coverage and makes my skin look flawless. I usually apply my foundation with either a beauty blender sponge or an oval foundation brush and buff it into the skin. You can read a full review here. For concealer, I have also been LOVING the Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer. It's only £4 but is amazing for hiding the dark circles under my tired eyes and covering any blemishes I have during my time of the month.
For contouring I use the Collection contour and highlighter duo. I used to use a Sleek highlight, bronze and blusher combo which I do occasionally reach for but I prefer a deeper shade contour rather than an orange tone. This one gives a really defined contour and the highlight is subtle yet glowy. I also often use my MAC Golden Deposit to give that extra glow. I usually apply this on top of my contour and sometimes on my eyes.
Brows
On a fortnightly basis I use my Revolution brow tint to dye my eyebrows. I think this stuff is amazing because it often means I won't have to wear brow products for a few days during the week. When my brows need that extra bit of oomph though I do use my Revolution brow pomade which is also fab. It has a gel like consistency and makes the brows look full and defined. I love using this when I'm going on a night out.
Eyes
During the autumn months I always reach for gold/orange/burgundy shades for my eyes. I love using the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette but for the last couple of months I've used nothing but my OPV Gorgeous 2 palette. This palette is gorgeous. I got it for my birthday back in February and as soon as I opened it up the colours just jumped out at me. The only annoying this about the palette is that there are no true matte brown shades for blending, however I often use my contour shade from the collection palette which solves the problem. My favourite shades in this palette are the golden and copper tones. You can literally create so many different looks. Read my full review here.
For Mascara, I recently picked up the Primark Lash contour mascara on a trip into town and I was pleasantly surprised. It lengthens my lashes and also gives a subtle volume too. It's not clumpy at all but also doesn't separate the lashes too much. It's the perfect combination. When I'm feeling extra fancy I also like to wear lashes. I usually opt for Ardell Demi Wispies or the KISS lashes in flirty which I am LOVING.
If I am feeling extra, I also sometimes attempt to apply liner. I am still one of those people who cannot apply liner evenly so more often than not I just give up with it all together, but if I am feeling brave I always opt for my L'Oreal Super liner.

Lips
My all time favourite lip combo is my MAC lip liner in Whirl and my Essence liquid lipstick in the most perfect nude shade. I love how effortless it looks but it makes my lips look fuller and plump. I also love a good berry lip during the winter months and particularly love my Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in 107 - it's a autumn/winter staple!
So there you have it; that's what I carry in my everyday autumn makeup bag! Let me know what your autumn beauty favourites are. I would love to know in the comments section below.
