THE CRACKING CHRISTMAS TAG!

I feel SO christmassy so I thought it was about time I did a little Christmas tag on the blog this year. I love doing tags as I feel it gives you an insight into the person you follow and also I'm nosy and love finding out more about people! I found this blog which Becca and Nina created so I thought I'd give it a go! If you'd like to take part, make sure you send me your links in the comments below so I can see your answers!

Weirdest family Christmas tradition?
I wouldn't say it's necessarily a weird tradition, but every year if we're at home for Christmas, on Christmas morning we open a stocking upstairs in bed, then go down and put on Christmas tunes, wearing our Christmas eve Pj's and with a cup of tea and biscuits and open our presents one by one. We then all go and get ready and go to the pub before Christmas dinner in the afternoon. My mum likes to be left alone to cook the dinner so we leave her in peace and come back merry!!

It's Christmas Eve, what are you doing?
Wrapping presents, watching it's a wonderful life and drinking Prosecco! I LOVE Christmas eve!

Top 3 Christmas dinner components?
Roast potatoes (made specially by Dad)
Honey Roasted Carrots and Parsnips
Nanna's Chocolate Cake for Pudding OR Cheese and Biscuits OMG YAS!

When do you decorate your house?
First week of December but when we own a house I will probably put the tree up at the end of November because I mean why not?! Sorry Jay!

Loved and loathed Christmas songs?
I LOVE The Pogues - Fairytale of New York and Mariah Carey - All I want for Christmas and I HATE Roy Wood and The Wombles - 'I Wish It Could Be a Wombling Merry Christmas Everyday'.

One big present or lots of little things to open?
100% lots of little things... I've always been a girl who likes to get more for your money so my idea of heaven is having loads of little things to open!

What is your favourite Christmas decoration? (Include a photo if you have one)
I love our Star Christmas Light which we display on the windowsill. If I had it my way it'd be up all year round. It's from Wilko and was only £10.

Do you like to have a themed tree or one with a bit of everything?
Definitely a themed one. I get that from my Mum. This year it's gold, rose gold, silver and bronzy colours but when I have a house I want my tree to be scandi themed, with lots of white and wood.

Christmas pudding: yay or nay?
Ew, definitely a 'nay'. I think it's gross.

What's at the top of your Christmas wishlist this year?
I haven't really asked for anything particular this year. I'd love some new boots and the obvious; makeup but apart from that I don't really care! I mean, if Santa bought me a cat I'd be over the moon but I know that won't happen because we need to wait until we've moved out of the flat and into a house with a garden!

I hope you liked finding out a bit more about my festive favourites. Let me know if you give this tag a go!
