HIGHLIGHT IS POPPING | MY GO TO GLOW MAKE UP LOOK

What is it with this weather? One day it feels like 100 degrees and the next it's a big thunder storm with torrential rain! Anyway, despite the changing weather, I've still been obsessing over the glowy makeup look and thought I'd share with you what products I've been using to give me that summer glow!

To get the perfect glowy base I've been mixing my two primers from Primark. One is a hydrating primer which has a gel like consistency and feels so moisturising on the skin, along with the Primark glow illuminator which is a bronzy shade which gives the dewy look I'm obsessed with at the moment. I've been using my trustee Collection concealer which I use to brighten my under eyes (because ya girl got bad dark circles!) and also cover any blemishes or breakouts too. I then go in with the Collection contour stick to shape my face before using my new favourite foundation; the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 foundation*. I love this foundation because it's full coverage but doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It makes my skin look flawless and gives a subtle glow which is what I go for in a foundation. I have dry skin so this is perfect for me and it doesn't cling to any dry patches either. I sometimes mix it with my Maybelline dream satin liquid, which is also amazing on my dry skin. I get so many compliments when I mix the two together. For bronzer, I use the collection contour and highlight kit in medium and then for an extra glow I use a mixture of my MAC Soft and Gentle Mineralise Skin finish and my MUA highlighter which has insane pigment (and it's SO cheap!)

For my eye make up, I've recently rediscovered my love for the Naked Heat palette (see full review here). I have always been a fan of the orange tones because it makes my blue eyes pop more and it just all round a summer vibe! For this glowy look I used the shades Sauced and Low Blow which are matte browns in the crease and then applied one of my favourite shades, Lumbre which is an iridescent copper shimmer over the lid. I also used Chaser, a light nude in the inner corner and applied the MAC Soft and Gentle on top to give an extra pop. For brows, I used my favourite brow pomade from Revolution which I swear by for carving the brows and then an old dark brown Bourjour eyeshadow on top to define them. I used my Primark mascara to coat my lashes before wearing my go to lash of choice, the Ardell Demi Wispies, which are the perfect shape for my smaller eyes.

For my lips, I used my favourite nude combo which I tend to reach for on the regular. I love using Rimmel lip liners as they feel so creamy when applied and never dry out my lips. I used this nude colour which is very well loved (so much so I can't even find out the name of it!) and is a deep pinky nude. I applied my L'Oreal Lipstick which is the Emily Canham one which is a more beige toned nude but compliments the liner really well, before applying my Essence lip gloss which is a matte but it's really creamy. I think this has been discontinued which I will be gutted about because I can't find anything I like as much. Let me know your favourite nude lipsticks/lip glosses in the comments below so I can have a little spending spree!
