A while back on Instagram I asked if anyone had any recommendations for beauty box subscriptions because I felt like treating myself once a month and have seen a fair few around over the years. I've known about the usual Glossybox and Birchbox etc but wanted to try something new. A couple of people gave some good recommendations and in the end I decided to try out the Latest in Beauty box.


There are three subscription tiers for the monthly box:

• Beauty Novice - £9.00 - 3 products
• Beauty Enthusiast - £15.00 - 5 products
• Beauty Guru - £18.00 - 9 products

The thing I like about it this subscription box is that you can chose one of the above plans but if you decide one month you want to receive more or less products you can easily switch! You can also buy one off boxes too without having to commit to the monthly payment. The process for the boxes is that you get to choose your own products each month. On the website they have a range of products which are updated regularly and you can pick your own based on what you prefer. If you want to receive a surprise, you can simply ignore the reminder email and wait for your package to arrive!

I've opted to start off with the Beauty Guru package and receive 9 products a month and this month I chose the following products:

• Dr Paw Paw Rich Mocha Balm
• Sport FX Medium Performance Powder and Bronzer Compact Duo
• Little Mix Off Duty Lashes
• Blossom Cosmetics Neroli Toning Water
• Pureology Hydrate Color Care Shampoo
• Nuxe Multi-Correction Gel Cream
• Avon Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Marvellous Mocha
• Cetaphil Moisturising Cream

I'm really excited to try all the products properly so expect to see them featured in some reviews coming soon. I've only tried Dr Paw Paw and Avon brands before so there are lots of newbies to discover, which is why I love the concept of the box so much!
