Autumn is by far my favourite time of year. I love everything about it and can't wait to share all my autumn beauty and fashion favourites over the next few weeks. Today I thought I'd share with you my favourite Autumn beauty bits that I've been loving recently. I've got everything from eye shadow palettes, to nail polish and lipstick so stay tuned if you want to find some new products to try!



I recently got my September Latest in Beauty box (August review here), and in it was the cutest mini Nars Lipstick in a gorgeous Pinky/Nude shade called Tolede. I've actually never tried anything from Nars (I know, I am desperate to pick up a few bits soon), so this was such a nice treat. The colour of this lipstick is my go-to nude shade. I love doing a golden eye makeup and then finishing off the look with this nude shade. It looks so nice on the lips and the formulation is SO creamy!!

Another lip shade I love for the autumn months is obviously a trustee red lip. Now I don't really think I'm the type of person that suits a red lip as I've got quite small lips and it just looks a bit weird in comparison to a nice nude shade, however you can't transition through to autumn and not wear one every now and again! My two favourites are my trustee Rimmel London 107 in a deep burgundy shade and my Matte Me Lip Cream in Rioja Red tick which is more of a true red shade.



As I mentioned, gold shades on the eyes are my favourite thing during the autumn months. I love how it makes my blue/grey eyes pop a bit more and I love adding in burgundy shades too for something a bit more intense. My favourite palettes to help create these kind of looks are my OPV Beauty Gorgeous 2 Palette (full review here) and my Urban Decay Naked heat palette. The shades in both of these palettes are SO pigmented and the shimmers are literally to die for. They're the perfect shades for the festive season!

Now I know the summer season is all about the glowy skin/highlight, but that doesn't mean you can't wear it during the autumn months too. I'm a big lover of dewy skin and don't like a matte look on me so I'm always adding in the highlighter whenever I can! My two favourites at the moment are the Beat the Blues Liquid Highlighter & Illuminator and my trustee MAC Soft and Gentle Highlighter. The liquid highlighter has a more pearl like tone and the MAC powder has a pinky hue. I love wearing more golden highlighters in the summer months but these two are the perfect shades for this time of year.

My favourite skincare products for the autumn will forever be my Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil and the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. Two of my favourite skincare products, ever! I suffer really badly with dry skin (I've talked about this more here) and these two products are my winter skin saviours. The oil smells incredible; literally like a spa and the 8 hour cream is the best thing on the planet for dry skin! I would seriously recommend both of these products!



My final favourite autumnal beauty product is a trustee Red Nail Polish. My current favourite is from Soigne and is the perfect deep red shade and looks amazing when you've got a red lip on too. If you're wearing an all black outfit, the pop of red gives it that added something else!
