I don't know about you but I love dressing for the autumn weather. I love being all cosy and wearing all the autumn colours. I thought now we're moving towards the colder weather, I'd share with you my favourite autumn work outfits.

My favourite thing at the moment is blazers. I love them. I wear them with everything; jeans, skirts, dresses, you name it. My first go to outfit is a long line check blazer and a pink chiffon top, paired with black jeans, some chunky trainers and my black work bag. This is such an affordable outfit and all items are from non other than Primark; my favourite place! I love that you can wear all of the items individually as well as together and it's such a great transitional outfit.


One of my staple work outfits for events is my black midi skirt with this beautiful cream lace top from Zara. I love to layer it with my black long line cardigan and studded ballet flats. You could wear this with bare legs or layer with tights when it gets slightly colder.





You can't beat a floaty dress and tights during the winter months. I love this mustard number from Primark which has bell sleeves and a shift style skirt. I like to pair this with my black biker boots from ASOS and a jewelled headband.









My next autumnal outfit features this very cute check skirt. I love the pop of mustard in it and paired with a black boxy top from Femme Luxe*, black blazer, tights and heeled boots, you can't go wrong. It's a sophisticated look but cute at the same time. I love smartening it up with the blazer and heeled boots but you could also add a chunky jumper and trainers too for a more casual look.




Black cropped trousers are such a great transitional piece for autumn time. I love throwing these on with a burgundy shirt, my chunky trainers and my little black backpack. Again, this is another outfit you can layer up by adding a nice chunky knit jumper and coat. I love this smart casual look, it's such an easy outfit to pull together.





Another of my favourite work outfits for this time of year is my trustee black jeans, a navy blue v neck top with my green khaki jacket and black boots. I like to switch it up between my heeled boots and my biker boots depending on how I'm feeling that day! This is a great outfit for transitioning from a work day outfit to one for a drink after work too! These tops are also my absolute favourite things for both summer and autumn, and they're only £6 from George at Asda. I have them in literally every colour they do!



The final work outfit for autumn is a trustee pinafore dress. I love all the different style of pinafore dresses, from corduroy to denim and I love this particular one because it's a bit different to all the ones you find in the local shopping centre. I love the colours in this dress, they're very similar to the skirt I featured earlier and have that pop of mustard running through it. I like to layer this with either a white shirt or black long sleeve t-shirt and layer with thick black tights. For work I'd usually wear this with my black heeled boots and my camel coat but sometimes I also like to wear my aviator jacket from PLT for added warmth. This jacket is definitely a wardrobe staple for autumn!
