I can't believe 2020 is here. How fast did 2019 go!? I feel as though it has flashed by and so many exciting things have happened. I love the start of a new year, and 2020 is the beginning of a new decade too so it's even more of a reason to set some goals and get organised. We've done the big clean up after Christmas and I'm feeling refreshed after some much needed time at home with my lovely family.

I thought to start of a brand new year and one full of exciting plans, I'd share with you some of my new year goals.

1. Turn our house into a home
As you'll know, back in June, Jay and I bought our very first house together and the goal for 2020 is to turn the house into a home. I can't wait to decorate it and get the garden sorted for a summer full of fun.

2. Get a promotion at work
I've been at my workplace for 2 years now and I absolutely love my job! I want to push myself this year and try and get a promotion into a more specific area of work. I'd love to work within the field of mental health so I'm going to try and focus on doing some courses and developing my skills.

3. Improve my blog photography
In 2020 I want to try and improve my blog photography. I love blogging but often find that due to working full time and being generally busy, my photography takes a back seat and becomes a big rush. I hate it when my photos look crap so I want to start as I mean to go on and was lucky enough to receive some photography books for Christmas to help me on my way!

4. Spend more quality time with my friends and family
I love spending time with my favourite people and creating lots of amazing memories and I want to do more of that in 2020, particularly seeing the people I don't get to see as often!

5. Loose weight for Florida
Over the Christmas period, Jay and I finally booked our flights to Florida for October this year. We're so excited to be going over to the USA for 2 weeks to spend time with his family and explore what Florida has to offer so I want to be looking my best and loose a bit of weight.



I've got some other goals too but I wanted to try and be more focused this year and actually achieve them instead of having too many that make them unrealistic!
