I'm taking it back old school for today's post and bringing you a what's in my bag - a classic post that I love to read. If you're nosy like me then I hope you'll enjoy reading this!
The bag in question is a large bucket style bag from HM. I've had it for a couple of months now and it's still going strong. The bag has one large compartment with a zip to fasten and it's absolutely huge so great for fitting all my crap in it!
People in my family often call me Mary Poppins when it comes to handbags because you can literally find everything and anything in it. I like to cover all bases so have everything from makeup, to notebooks to bobbles - you name it!
My makeup bag of choice is from Matalan and was a gift from a family friend for Christmas last year. I love anything personalised and this is grey too so it's me down to a tee. I don't think they have any of these style in stock anymore but they often bring out different styles every year and for £6 you can't go wrong.
In my makeup bag I pack a few essentials for topping up my makeup during the working day. I have my favourite foundation at the minute; the Milani conceal and perfect, my Collection concealer in shade 1 and my Collection bronzer and highlight compact. I take my Clinique mascara and my go to lip liner and lip combo - my Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lipstick and lip liner. I also always have my Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream which is my holy grail (full review here) and some Invisible bobbles and chewing gum in case of emergencies! I have also recently got glasses so I always make sure to have them with me too so I can see!
My water bottle is from Primark and I like to keep that with me at all times. When I'm at work, I tend to steer away from hot drinks and just drink water but having a bottle like this helps to keep me on track. I also like to have some snacks in there too and I've recently been loving the Weight Watchers chocolate brownie bars (great for anyone who gets a sweet tooth in the afternoon but without loads of calories!)
For the organised girl in me, I always pack my notepad and pen. This beautiful one is from Neon Sheep and was just £3!!!!! Bargain or what. It's my new favourite shop for sure! I also always have my diary in there too (and they match so that pleases me!) Like most people, I can't go anywhere without my phone so that's always packed in my bag, and on long trips I take my iPad too so I can write blog posts on the go to. My purse is from Accessorize and is a large style which I love and I much prefer to have all my cards and money in this than separate coin purses and card holders!
